Redeem codes and more reliable nugget-ad sessions

Release status: Android production, full rollout, in review. iOS is in TestFlight open testing.

🎟️ Redeem codes arrive on Profile

• A new Redeem code row is available on the Profile tab.
• Current code SEPT80 expires on 30 September 2026. It was shared as an apology for recent ad limitations; the announcement did not specify the exact reward.
• Developer-issued codes can award nuggets or land tokens.
• Valid rewards appear immediately in Profile stats and the top bar.
• Each code works once per player.
• Unknown, expired and already-used codes now receive separate, useful messages.
• Prospectour says to watch its official Discord for codes posted by the developers.

⏱️ Nugget ads now run in rounds

• Nugget ads play in rounds of four.
• Each completed round is followed by a 95-second pause, counted down in the Market label.
• The pause gives ad networks time to recover, reducing “no ad available” responses.
• Boost ads are not paced and do not use this round timer.

🔞 A simpler signup flow

• New players confirm they are 18 or older with a switch instead of entering a date of birth.
• The location screen now uses a single Continue button.

🛒 Consecutive purchases fixed

Buying a nugget pack and immediately buying the same pack again now opens a real payment sheet instead of leaving the second tap hanging.

🧹 Background sign-out no longer leaves stuck buttons

A session signed out in the background could previously leave buttons stuck across several screens until the app restarted. Version 1.3.1 fixes that state.

Gem Exchange, free daily land and a worldwide Registry

Release status: Android production with full rollout, currently in review. iOS is in TestFlight open testing.

💎 The Exchange replaces Cash Out for now

• Cash Out is temporarily removed from the Market tab.
• Gems convert to nuggets at 4 gems = 1 nugget, with a slider for the exact amount.
• A Land Credit claims any available square outright and costs 10% less than buying the same square with exchanged nuggets.
• At the early 700-nugget price, that means 2,520 gems per Land Credit instead of 2,800 gems exchanged into nuggets.
• Exchanges are final, one-way and rates may change. The current screen describes nuggets, gems and land as game items with no cash value.

🎁 The seven-day reward ladder is complete

• The old login pop-up is replaced by a ladder at the top of the Market.
• Days 1–5 pay nuggets; day 6 gives one whole square and day 7 gives two.
• Banked days are ticked and today is ringed.
• A held square is spent automatically on the next claim before nuggets.

🖼️ Profiles and picture moderation

• Players can choose a profile picture from their photo library.
• Pictures appear on leaderboards; tapping a row opens that player's profile.
• Players can report inappropriate pictures and some uploads are reviewed before becoming visible.

🗺️ The Land Registry in your pocket

• The Land page maps every claimed square at its true position and colours it by rarity.
• Count bubbles group claims when zoomed out.
• A Yours filter finds the player's own corners of the world.
• It uses the same registry as the official website's live map.

⚡ Honest boost reporting

• The post-ad reward card now shows the exact time credited by the server.
• This removes the race that could wrongly display “BOOST ALREADY FULL”.
• Remaining daily boosts are visible beneath the Boost button again.
• Game audio becomes quiet while an ad plays.

📱 iPad and iOS fixes

• The invisible consent form that could lock some iPads on a blank navy screen now appears only after the player taps Watch.
• The iOS launch screen now includes the Prospectour logo.
• Invite links should attach correctly on fresh iOS installs after the missing universal-link entitlement was restored.
