Prospectour is a location-based idle-mining game. The map is divided into virtual squares linked to real places. You spend nuggets to claim an available square; that square then produces gems according to a randomly revealed rarity.
1. Create your account
Install the iPhone or Android app, choose a username and select a prospector. The prospector is cosmetic: your land and routine determine production.
2. Learn the two currencies
Nuggets
Game currency used to buy land. Earned from rewarded ads, referrals or paid packs. Nuggets themselves are not redeemable for cash.
Gems
Produced by owned land. The official economy page states a 1,000 gems = $1 peg if redemption becomes available.
3. Claim your first square
Stand near an available area on the map and tap Claim Land. Early squares cost 700 nuggets. You can select within the available claim area around your location, so you do not need to stand on an exact point.
4. Reveal the rarity
Every claim rolls one of eight tiers. You cannot see or choose the rarity before buying. Common land is frequent; Divine land is extremely rare and produces four times the Common rate.

5. Let the square mine
Owned squares produce gems whether the app is open or closed. Each has a 24-hour capacity. Once full, it stops producing until you collect, so leaving the app untouched for seven days does not bank seven complete days.
6. Boost intelligently
A boost ad currently provides 30 minutes at 2×. Up to 24 ads can cover 12 hours. The rest of the day remains at 1×, giving a maximum whole-day factor of 1.5×, not 2×.
7. Use a realistic daily routine
Collect at roughly the same time
Empty all tanks before they reach their 24-hour ceiling.
Watch the boost ads you can sustain
A consistent six hours is more useful than an occasional maximum day.
Watch nugget ads
Use the free allowance while your lifetime reward remains in the stronger tiers.
Claim rather than hoard
Waiting does not preserve your ad reward tier, which is based on lifetime ad-earned nuggets.
