Prospectour is a location-based idle-mining game. You claim virtual squares tied to real places, reveal a random rarity and collect the gems they produce.
1. Use the referral invite before starting
Open the invite before creating your account so the referral can attach correctly. New accounts in version 1.3.1 confirm they are 18 or older with a switch instead of typing a date of birth, and the location screen now has one Continue button. Keep code PROS-AJK359 available in case manual entry is offered.
2. Understand nuggets, gems and Land Credits
Nuggets
Used to buy land. Earn them from ads, referrals, daily rewards, paid packs or the new gem exchange. The official web shop currently advertises 10% off compared with the app.
Gems
Produced by owned land. Cash Out is temporarily removed; gems now exchange at 4 gems = 1 nugget or buy Land Credits.
Land Credits
A credit claims one available square outright. At the early 700-nugget land price, it costs 2,520 gems—10% less than exchanging 2,800 gems into 700 nuggets.
One-way exchange
Exchanges are final. Nuggets and land cannot be turned back into gems, and Prospectour says rates may change.
3. Claim your first square
Stand near an available area and tap Claim Land. Early squares cost 700 nuggets. If you hold a Land Credit, the game spends it automatically on your next claim before touching nuggets.
4. Reveal the rarity
Every claim rolls one of eight tiers. You cannot see or choose the rarity before claiming. Use the new Land Registry to view claimed squares at their true locations, coloured by rarity, and filter the map to show your own land.

5. Let your land produce gems
Version 1.1.9 introduced the current triple mint rates, which remain current in 1.3.1. Squares produce gems while the app is closed but stop when their 24-hour tanks are full, so collect at least daily.
6. Complete the seven-day reward ladder
The Market now shows a seven-rung daily ladder. Days 1–5 award nuggets, day 6 awards one whole square and day 7 awards two. Banked days are ticked and the current day is ringed.
7. Boost intelligently
Each boost ad banks 30 minutes at 2×, with up to 48 per day. The bank holds 12 hours, so using the whole allowance requires two sessions. Boost ads are not affected by the new 1.3.1 nugget-ad pacing rule.

8. Use a realistic routine
Claim the daily reward
Protect the ladder that leads to the free squares on days 6 and 7.
Use four-ad rounds
Nugget ads now pause for 95 seconds after every round of four. The Market label shows the countdown.
Collect before 24 hours
Empty gem tanks before they stop production.
Choose your gem route
Exchange at 4:1 for flexibility, or save for the 10%-cheaper Land Credit when your goal is another square.
