The two current gem exchanges
Gems to nuggets
4 gems = 1 nugget. A slider lets you choose the amount to exchange rather than forcing the entire balance.
Gems to Land Credit
An early Land Credit costs 2,520 gems and claims any square outright. That is 10% less than exchanging 2,800 gems for the 700 nuggets required to buy the same early square.
Important Exchange rules
- Gem exchanges are final.
- They only work in one direction: exchanged nuggets or land do not turn back into gems.
- Exchange rates may change at any time.
- A stored Land Credit is used automatically on your next claim, before nuggets are touched.
What about the former dollar conversion?
Earlier builds displayed a planned cash-out rail using 1,000 gems = $1 and a 5,000-gem minimum. That option is no longer present in the 1.2.0 Market and must not be treated as a current cash value. Prospectour describes the removal as temporary, but no return date is stated.
How long to earn a Land Credit?
The answer depends on your rarity mix, boost hours and collection routine. Enter your estate and current balance to estimate the time to 2,520 gems or compare the direct 4:1 nugget exchange.

- Do not spend money you need to recover.
